Notice-nationwide health worker’s verification to commence soon
Sia Lucy Kannah The Ministry of Health wishes to notify all Nationwide Health Workers that the Ministry of Health would be conducting a comprehensive Nation-Wide Health Workers Verification. This notification is in respect of all health workers in Government Health Facilities to further sanitize the payroll of the Ministry.
Please note that the exercise would be conducted in partnership with other entities of government including, the Anti-Corruption Commission and Civil Society Organization.
As the exercise well commerce at any time after one month upon the receipt, the ministry is requesting that all health workers to hold themselves in readiness with the following documentations: Appointment Letter (s), NASSIT ID Card, National ID Card, Promotion Letter (s) And Staff ID Card and other related document.
Additional all directors, Program Managers, District Medical Officers, Medical Superintendent, Heads of Department and Units are required to disseminate this information to all officers and facilitate their cooperation in the entire process.
And importantly to note that officers who fail to avail themselves for verification without reasonable excuse would have their names deleted from the payroll and services subsequently terminated.
This notice should be treated with all seriousness.

This is timely.There are a lot of these health workers who are out of the country for a long time and their names are still on pay role… receiving salaries from government coffers.Check also their bosses in charge… they compromise with them for.Check them out… kudos Mr Minister go ahead👍
