Orange Sierra Leone has partnered with PlantMamaSL to host the first Salone Garden Expo, a two-day event taking place from 13–14 February 2026 at the Radisson Blu Mammy Yoko Hotel in Freetown.
The Expo marks Sierra Leone’s first national platform dedicated to sustainability, environmental awareness, and climate action.
Founded by Alita Ansu Katta, CEO of PlantMamaSL, the initiative has grown into a nationwide green movement uniting government, private sector, and communities.
n his keynote, Jiwoh Abdulai highlighted the importance of collective action to protect the environment.

During the opening ceremony, Orange Sierra Leone CEO Aïcha Touré reaffirmed the company’s commitment to environmental preservation and emphasized that sustainability is a shared responsibility.

The Expo features hundreds of plants on display and the distribution of free trees to promote long-term environmental stewardship.
