After a successful Hajj in the Holy land of Mecca, the second batch of pilgrims has landed at the Lungi International Airport.The first batch arrived on Saturday morning.

Hajj is the fifth pilar o Islam to be perform by every Muslims that have the opportunity.

A total of 626 pilgrims have so far returned to Sierra Leone. Three hundred and thirteen (313) in the first batch and 313 in the second batch respectively.

The pilgrims on their arrival show excitement and appreciation to the government for successful coordination of this year hajj program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

They further lavished praises to the President, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio, Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, Sierra Leone Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and the Hajj Committee headed by the Minister of Social Welfare for providing them with the necessary accomodations, transportations and good feeding over there.

According to those who often witnessed Hajj coordination by the state said this year, Hajj program was well coordinated with no constraints to accessing any facility.
