The Sierra Leone Police have officially declared local clergyman Rev. Jonathan Peter Marsh wanted following an alleged case of financial fraud involving thousands of United States dollars.
According to a notice issued by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Headquarters on Pademba Road, Rev. Marsh, a resident of Goderich, Freetown, is being sought for “larceny by trick and other related offences.”
Police documents indicate that the alleged offence involves the sum of sixteen thousand United States dollars (US$16,000), reportedly linked to the transaction of a maroon-coloured 2016 Toyota RAV4 bearing registration number AWJ-109.
The warrant of arrest, referenced as CID H/Q No. 172/2026, with case record number 4992/2026, describes the suspect as an adult Sierra Leonean of fair complexion.
The Police have urged members of the public to provide any information that could assist in locating and arresting Rev. Marsh. Anyone with relevant information is advised to report to the CID Headquarters on Pademba Road, the nearest police station, or contact the telephone numbers provided in the notice.
The Sierra Leone Police confirmed that a “handsome reward” will be given to anyone who provides actionable intelligence leading directly to the arrest of Rev. Jonathan Peter Marsh.
