Head of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Richard P.Gtheirrt on Thursday 25th August 2022, disclosed to journalists at the police press conference, George street in Freetown that the Hon. Mohamed Bangura is in their Custody.

The Head of CID furthered that the Hon. Mohamed Bangura is in there custody for incitement, assault and causing grievous bodily harm, and noted that the Police is investigating him.

Until then if there is no case there is no case, but if there is a case he will be charged to court to face the law”, the CID boss revealed.

According to a Police spokesman, Hon. Mohamed Bangura was arrested in relation to an on-going investigation into the violence that took place in Constituency 056 in Sambaia Bendugu at Tonkolili district.
