In the aftermath of the thwarted coup attempt on November 26 that targeted the heart of Freetown, Inspector General of Police William Fayia Sellu has provided a comprehensive update on the individuals currently in police custody.
IGP Sellu revealed that a total of 80 suspects are currently detained, comprising 50 serving military officers, 5 dismissed military officers, 7 serving police officers, 1 senior retired police officer, 15 civilians, 1 correctional service officer, and notably, Former President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.
Of these detainees, 68 have already provided their statements, which have been swiftly forwarded to the Attorney General’s Office for further legal proceedings. However, 12 individuals remain under ongoing questioning and interrogation as part of the extensive investigation into the attempted coup.
The continued efforts of law enforcement to thoroughly investigate and bring all involved parties to justice remain a top priority amidst this unprecedented event.
Hajj money is $7500, focus on the economy, focus on the health of the nation. Stop the passive aggressive method. It’s won’t benefit this nation. We continue to pray for peace and unity, pray against division and setup, false accusations.

When there is any problem in this country, you and your family will be the first target. You have never been yourself !!

I advise you change your name from blessing to rebel as that’s the name that fit you. Hajj money has nothing to do with the economy as those that have the money will pay to complete the five pillars of Islam and that money is not going into the pocket of the government but on the welfare on the people that will be paying traveling.
You hate peace and unity so don’t claim you’re praying for it because if you do, you won’t support coup potters. Just give any name you want to tag to the ongoing investigation but the law will be implemented to it fullest whether you like it or not. If e hat u go kamakwie road
