President Bio Meets With UN Secretary-General António Guterres Ahead of Transforming Educational Summit

His Excellency President Boi is to co-chair the UN Educational Summit and he is presently in the United States with his delegation from Freetown to particulate in the summit.

Ahead of the summit, the president had a meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres about the summit.

President Bio after their meeting tweeted and said he is hopeful that the educational system will be transformed for the better.

“I had a great meeting with @antonioguterres ahead of the #TransformingEducation Summit tomorrow. I am hopeful that with our collective efforts and sustained political will, transforming education will be a foremost global priority. I am looking forward to my participation”.
