RCBank has joined hundreds of Sierra Leoneans on December 28th, 2023 to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the Hands of Our Girls Campaign – a project initiated by the Office of the First Lady of Sierra Leone.

With a compelling show of commitment, the float parade was not just an awareness raising event, it is also a testament of the Bank’ unwavering commitment to protect and secure the future of Sierra Leonean  girls. The Joining of the lively procession, spanning from the National Stadium to Aberdeen beach, showcased the institution shared dedication to the cause.

 

As a HE4SHE champion, the Managing Director of RCBank, Dr. Ekundayo Gilpin re-echo the clarion call by the revered First Lady to prioritize the protection of girls at all times.

Under the theme “Our Girls Our Pride, Our Boys Our Allies, We are Winning, No Excuse for Abuse,” participants fervently emphasized the lasting impact of the movement.

RCBank Participation in the float Parade served as a clear manifestation of solidarity and support for the ongoing endeavors to shape a future where everyone, regardless of gender, can live without the burden of abuse. The fifth-anniversary celebration of “Hands Off Our Girls” not only commemorates the movement’s history but also signifies a commitment to a fairer and more equitable society.
