The Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) has successfully completed a three-week peace support operational training course.
This initiative was conducted by a short-term training team from the Coldstream Guards, the British Army’s oldest continuously serving regiment.
The operational instruction training course involved 63 men and 9 women from the RSLAF, equipping them with vital skills necessary for peacekeeping operations.
The program featured a comprehensive curriculum that blended navigated theory with practical exercises. Participants engaged in essential battlefield casualty drills and gained insights into effectively planning and resourcing training missions.
This training marks a significant step in enhancing the capabilities of the RSLAF in peace support operations.
