The Antonio Rudiger Foundation has sponsored the operations of Sierra Leonean children suffering from different surgical illnesses and helped them return to school.

The Antonio Rudiger Foundation on a statement shared on Facebook expressed contentment for seeing the kids being happy and in good health condition and back to their various schools.

The former Chelsea, now Real Madrid and German international professional footballer, whose mum is a Sierra Leonean, launched his foundation in 2022 mainly to aid street and vulnerable kids suffering from different ailments and issues.

According to him, he got the inspiration to engage in the humanitarian gesture in the country as a result of the eleven years civil war which destabilised the country.

The professional footballer had not only been supporting vulnerable children and kids in Sierra Leone, but has also been very supportive of the government in actualizing its Free and Quality Education (FQE) flagship project.

According to one of the parents, Foday, his kid had been living with the ailment for almost two years, adding that he is delighted to see his son get back on his feet.

Another parent, thanked the Foundation for financing the treatment, adding that had it not been for their intervention, her kid would not have returned to school by now.

Other parents expressed similar sentiments towards the Foundation, noting that, if not for the Rudiger Foundation, their children would not have been able to return to school in the shortest possible time.

The children commended the Foundation for coming to their aid, stating that they are grateful for all that Antonio Rudiger has done for them.
