Magistrate Sahr Kekura Issues Bench Warrant for Opposition Politician
Ibrahim Hashim The Principal Magistrate, of the Pademba Road Magistrate Court, Magistrate Sahr Kekura has yesterday issued a Bench Warrant for Karamoh Kabba, the National Organising Secretary II of the main opposition APC Party for being absent on 3 occasions.
According to the Judiciary Communications, the accused, Karamoh and 14 others are charged with 5 counts of riotous conduct related offence.
It could be recalled that in December last year, the APC’s Deputy Organising Secretary was arrested allegedly for riotous conduct whist in a procession that accompanied Diana Konomanyi to the CID.
It was reported that despite a police officer confirming that Kabba was not in the procession, a senior officer named Senessie said to have ordered his arrested along with several other supporters of Diana Konomanyi.
The former government minister, and the others were shortly charged and ordered to appear in court.
