Ex Freetown Mayor, Yvonne Aki-sawyerr has thrilled Students of Fourah Bay College (FBC) with her Mayoral Campaign Message today 9th June, 2023 at the Fourah Bay College Amphitheatre.
She confirmed on social media that she was at FBC on an invitation to speak at the Student Union Mayoral Town Hall.
“It was wonderful to be back at my alma mater today! Thanks to the Fourah Bay College Student Union for inviting me to speak at their Mayoral and thanks to FBC NUAS for their collaboration,” Aki-Sawyerr stated.
She described the event as great and she was overwhelmed by the warmth of the welcome from students and administrative staff.
Meanwhile, her main challenger for the mayoral position Mohamed Gento Kamaara was also at the University on Monday 5th June 2023, engaging the students about his visions and plans for the Freetown Municipality.
