Chief Minister Sengeh Hands Over Tripartite Committee Report to Various State Institutions For Implementation
Sorie Abubakar Chief Minister Dr. David Moinina Sengeh has officially handed over the Cross-Party Committee on Electoral Systems and Management Bodies Review Report to key state institutions this morning.
The comprehensive report, which outlines crucial recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness and independence of electoral and state bodies, marks a pivotal step in the country’s commitment to democratic reforms.
Dr. Sengeh, in a statement released on social media, expressed his optimism and commitment to the implementation of the report’s recommendations.
“This morning, I officially handed over the Cross-Party Committee on Electoral Systems and Management Bodies Review Report to various state institutions for implementation. The Police, Office of National Security, Civil Registry, Statistics-SL, PPRC, etc., are all committed to action. #WeWillDeliver on strengthening democracy and our independent state institutions,” Sengeh wrote.
