Attorney General Alpha Sesay Meets Dutch Justice Minister in Ghana
Aminata Koroma Sierra Leone’s Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Alpha Sesay, has held discussions with the Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Accra, Ghana, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security and judicial cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting, held at the request of Attorney General Sesay, focused on addressing transnational organised crime, illicit financial flows, and other shared security challenges.
According to Sesay, the discussions underscored the importance of sustained commitment, continued progress, and enhanced collaboration to safeguard national borders and protect citizens from the impact of organised crime.
He reaffirmed Sierra Leone’s commitment to supporting collective efforts to combat transnational threats and fulfilling its responsibilities under the existing security partnership with the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The engagement forms part of ongoing bilateral cooperation aimed at strengthening justice systems and enhancing coordinated responses to cross-border crime.
