The deputy head of the Sierra Leone Police Media unit, Superintendent Samuel Saio Conteh who admitted on AYV television that “No Police office has the right to shave off any suspect in custody” has been removed from his position and transferred to Rotifunk Police Station.

The Directorate Human Resource Manager of the Sierra Leone police has issue a transfer statement for some police officers.

This statement came after many bashing on the police by citizens on social media.

It all started after the arrest of popular musician Alhaji Amadu Bah commonly called LAJ after his dreadlocks were shaved while in police custody.

Four police officers were featured in the transfer statement which have some promotions and emotions.

Superintendent 219296 Samuel Saio Conteh of media unit police headquarters Deputy head of media has been transfer to Rotifunk police station.

Superintendent 210800 Abu Bakarr Mansaray of Kissy Division transferred to Congo Cross Division as support officer.

Superintendent 219069 Ms. Monica Johnson of Lumley Division Support officer transferred to the New England Vile police station.

Asp 220954 Mr. Mohamed Bobson Senu from Rotifunk Head Quarter Media officer to media unit police headquarters as Deputy Head of Media.

This statement was signed by the Director Human Resource Management Mr. Patrick A T Johnson and copy the the IGP, DIG, Head of Financial Service and Data Base police headquarters.
