The Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA) has made an increment in the tariff of different categories Driver’s License
From the published list, a huge increment was made in the different categories of driver’s licenses.
According to the list, Private Drivers License fee has been increased from Le 400,000 to Le 1,500,000, Van Drivers License from Le 410,000 to Le 1,600,000 and Buses driver’s License from Le 470, 000 to Le 700,000.
For Bike and Private Cars, the price is from Le 420, 000 to Le 2,000,000 while Car Jeep and Van owners will now pay Le 2,100,000. (Previously Le 450, 000).
Car Van Bus Truck and Tractors license, which was previously Le 630, 000 is now Le 3,000,000.

Do you guys want Sierra Leoneans to uprise or what? This is because all your increment in everything you meet when you took governance are 300 to 400% increase. If you think you can not govern to make life better for the people of that country please step down. The people are struggling to get a mill for day while you the government is busy killing them in poverty and starvation and you paying yourself in dollars to luxuriously with your families. 99% are dying just to for feeding you the 1% who are in governance. Why?
Can they (SLRSA) explain to citizens the reason(s) for the exorbitant increment?
This country is becoming unbearable to live.

The increment is too much l advice that a reduction be given another thought, my drivers license in 2018 was 500 and now it’s 2000 what a high increase for poor people, in actual facts it’s the masses that will suffer. President Bio you are a disappointment to the people of Sierra Leone.

I thought the licenses are given by categories (A,B,C…)? I don’t understand these fees saying, private, van, bus, jeep, van jeep, and blah, blah, blah…
The fees are beyond imagination. Where are we heading? This will only bring untold suffering to the poor masses. Who bears the burdens of taxation if not the end consumers?
This is disheartening and must be discouraged.
There is even a category difference between car and SUV. We sweh. There should be one drivers license and if you are a truck or bus driver, you have to have a special license for those. This is nonsense. We nor bette. Just encouraging people to be dishonest.
