SLAJ President Departs for FAJ Steering Committee Meeting in Mauritania
The President of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ), Ahmed Sahid Nasralla, had departed Sierra Leone to attend the Federation of African Journalists (FAJ) Steering Committee Meeting in Nouakchott, Mauritania.
The meeting is scheduled to hold from the 13 to 16 September 2024.
Nasralla is attending the meeting as a Reserve Member of FAJ Steering Committee, having been elected at the 5th FAJ Congress held online for the first time in the federation’s history in March 2024.
The meeting is convened under the auspices of the Association of Journalists of Mauritania.
The Federation of African Journalists is the African Regional Organisation of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ).
