The Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) is deeply saddened to announce the untimely demise of esteemed colleague, MADAM RASSIE BAH. The tragic event occurred on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Bo, Southern Sierra Leone.

Madam Rassie was a prominent figure in the media landscape, renowned for her dedication and passion. She served as the esteemed host of the widely acclaimed radio program, “Woman Concern,” broadcasted on Classic Radio under the Classic Media Empire banner in Bo. Prior to her tenure at Classic Radio, she contributed significantly to Smile Radio 89.9 in Bo. Additionally, Madam Rassie held the esteemed position of Former Deputy National Youth Leader of the Fullah Progressive Union (FPU).

The funeral proceedings to honor Madam Rassie Bah will be held on Monday, March 4th, 2024. The ceremony will commence at 4:00 PM at the Fullah Mosque, situated on Tangabae Street, New Site, Bo, followed by her interment at the Bo City Cemetery.
