The first established and fit for purpose association known as Council of Chiefdom Chairmen SLPP Kenema District, were at Gema on the 26th November 2022 in Dama Chiefdom Kenema District for their routine meeting.

Welcoming his colleagues, Chairman Ishmael Bundu of Small-Bo the Chairman of the fourteen Chairmen who chaired the meeting thank the people of Gema Dama for receiving them in good spirits.

Explaining the purposes of the formation of their association to news men, Chairman Bundu made it clear that it’s about unity among them, build bridges of peace, help to bring more members to the party and above all support President Bio’s re-election come 2023 with no run-off.

“This council has no power or we are not intending to change any elected Councillor, Mayor, District Council Chairman or Honourable Member of Parliament the only power we are building is to win the election with no run off by God’s grace” Chairman Bundu ended.

Speaking as an invited guest, Ibrahim Wurie thank the Chiefdom Chairmen for such unique ideas putting together by individuals from various Chiefdoms. The Chairman of Constituencies Chairmen in Kenema District called on the council to be united behind the party and not individuals irrespective of their differences.

The political strategist pleaded with the people of Dama and other areas to maintain patience in their genuine request to do their roads saying it is their right and President Bio led government will surely reach out to them on that.

Chairman Wurie used the opportunity to educate others on the P R System assuring the party executives and the general public that the decisions to get their representatives under P R system will still come from them….” I will not support or be part of any political campaign at this moment until ESCL declares date for such” Agba Wurie lamented.

Updates from various Chiefdoms on the ongoing Exhibition among other things climaxed the meeting.
