Foreign Minister Leads High-Level Delegation to UN Convention Signing in Ghana
Aminata Koroma Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Mohamed Rahman Swaray, is leading a high-level delegation to the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention on Negotiable Cargo Documents in Accra, Ghana.
The ceremony, held at Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is under the theme “Trade Facilitation for a Digital Age: Advancing Trade, Transport and Digital Transformation.”
The Sierra Leonean delegation comprises the country’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Sierra Leone’s High Commissioner to Ghana, and senior directors.
The convention signing highlights efforts to advance trade facilitation and support the digital transformation of trade and transport documentation.
