Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs has issued a public cease-and-desist notice to local operator Gullahdugu Tours, commanding the immediate withdrawal of all tour packages and promotional materials linked to the upcoming 2nd Edition of the One Nation Reggae Festival.

In an official public notice released on August 14, 2026, the Ministry addressed advertisements circulating across social media platforms, clarifying that Gullahdugu Tours has no official authorisation, partnership, or endorsement to sell travel packages for the flagship cultural event.

According to government officials, the Ministry and its partner agencies hold exclusive patent and organisational rights to the festival. Unsanctioned promotions risk misleading the public regarding official event affiliations.

The Ministry’s directive requires Gullahdugu Tours to immediately cease advertising, selling, or representing any travel or tour arrangements associated with the event.

Ministry officials emphasised that failure to comply will lead to swift legal action to protect the intellectual property and organisational integrity of the event.
