UNICEF Sierra Leone has reaffirmed its longstanding partnership with the United States Government following an engagement with Ms Meghan Moore, Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Sierra Leone.

The meeting focused on shared priorities aimed at advancing child survival, immunisation, and primary healthcare, with the goal of ensuring that more children and families across Sierra Leone have access to essential services.

UNICEF expressed appreciation for the continued collaboration, noting that strong partnerships remain critical to achieving sustainable results for every child.

The renewed commitment comes shortly after a three-day mind-heart dialogue skills training for religious and traditional leaders under the EU-UN Spotlight Initiative, which focused on strengthening community leadership in protecting children and promoting inclusive development.
