A Sierra Leonean based university student, Ali Steven is currently suffering from a severe kidney disease and the family and friends have appealed to kind-hearted Sierra Leoneans to urgently come to his aid to raise funds for a kidney transplant.
Steven has recently gained admission into the Freetown Teachers College (FTC) in Freetown to pursue Political Science. He was diagnosed with Kidney Disease and would need surgery as definitive treatment with immediate effect.
His medical report issued by the Cannuaght Teaching Hospital which was made available to Sierraloaded.sl by his family and friends in Freetown and the report showed that his kidney had been badly damaged and needs surgery to get back on his feet.
Speaking to Sierraloaded.sl about the fundraiser, one of his brothers Nabieu Steven, noted that the money that was requested for is too much and they could not be abled to raise the said amount.
“We don’t want to loose our brother as he is the only one that has gone higher in the field of education. All of us in the family are just average and he is the one we believe that can be of help to us all. We have tried our own best but it is not easy for us,” he maintained
