Yulisa Ahmadu, Sierra Leone’s Youth Envoy, has urged parliamentarians to prioritize the needs of their voters over their personal or party interests

He maintained that, boycotting parliament ad prioritizing party interests over national interest is a clear show of disloyalty for the country.

He further called on all  young people of the country to set this day 13th July, 2023 as a big record and not a good example, adding that, the young people of this nation will live to remember those individuals who betrayed the votes and efforts of many Sierra Leoneans by choosing their party’s interest more than the country and the voters themselves.

His statement reads; “Parliamentarians (designate) are encouraged to prioritize the needs of their voters and constituents in the 6th parliament opening today. Boycotting parliament ad prioritizing party interests over national interest shows disloyalty to mama Salone. Let’s remembers this day! Young people of Sierra Leone will not forget those who choose party loyalty over the interests and peace of our beloved country!”
