A senior member of the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), Alie Kabba, has disclosed that he recently paid a courtesy visit to the party’s National Chairman, Sir Jimmy Batilo Songa, at the SLPP Headquarters in Freetown.

According to Kabba, discussions during the meeting focused on the progress made by the party since 2018, highlighting the foundation established under the leadership of President Julius Maada Bio. He noted that both leaders reflected on their collective responsibility to protect, strengthen, and build upon these achievements for the benefit of all Sierra Leoneans.

Kabba expressed strong confidence in Chairman Songa’s leadership, commending his commitment to fostering unity and strengthening the party. He emphasised that unity, discipline, and teamwork remain crucial as the SLPP positions itself for future electoral victories and continued national service.

He further stated that he was honoured by Chairman Songa’s kind remarks and recognition of his contributions to the party’s development. The meeting, he added, served as an opportunity for both leaders to reaffirm their shared commitment to the values, principles, and vision that have guided the SLPP over the years.

Kabba concluded by expressing optimism about the party’s future, stressing that sustained collaboration and a shared sense of purpose in serving the people of Sierra Leone will ensure continued progress and success.
