Sierra Leone’s main opposition party, the All People’s Congress (APC) has disqualified former Vice President of Sierra Leone, Alhaji Samuel Sam Sumana from the party’s flagbearer race.

This is according to a notice signed by the Secretary and Head of Secretariat, ITGC, Hon. Abdul Kargbo.

The notice disclosed that Sam Sumana and other key members of the APC have been barred from the party.

The other disqualified members are; former MP, Hon. Julius Nye Cuffie contesting for the national chairman for the disabled wing, and former APC Ambassador to Washington, Bockarie Stevens contesting for the non executive NAC Member for the Western Region.
