All People’s Congress (APC) flagbearer aspirant Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara (JFK) has intensified his constituency tour across the country as part of efforts to engage grassroots supporters and strengthen his campaign ahead of the party’s constituency elections scheduled for July 18, 2026.
The tour forms a central part of Kamara’s campaign strategy, which emphasises direct interaction with party members and local communities. Through the engagements, the former Anti-Corruption Commissioner and Attorney General has been meeting delegates and residents to discuss their concerns while outlining his vision for the APC and Sierra Leone.
According to the JFK campaign team, the tour provides the presidential aspirant with an opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the economic and social challenges facing citizens, including the rising cost of living, access to healthcare and food security. The team said these interactions are intended to inform policies that respond to the everyday needs of Sierra Leoneans.
The campaign also maintains that the constituency visits reflect Kamara’s commitment to accessible and accountable leadership, arguing that sustained engagement with grassroots supporters is essential to rebuilding public confidence and strengthening the party ahead of future national elections.
