As Sierra Leone will be going to its general elections on the 24th of June 2023, the campaign period has been declared across the country by the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL).

The main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) party held its first campaign engagement in the Kenema district and has called on citizens to vote their conscious rather on tribal and regional lines.

The APC hierarchy divided Kenema into zones with senior party members attached to each zone to continue preaching the message of the APC to the nation.

The former Deputy Minister of Finance during the Ernest Bai Koroma administration, Momoh Vandi known as ‘Tok and Do’ in his speech called on their party supporters to be law-abiding and do everything possible to vote in the APC by voting for Samura Kamara as Sierra Leone next president and all the other members of Parliament, Councilors, and Mayors across the country.

He described the APC as the only political party that is good for Sierra Leone and urged all not to make mistake by voting for another political party.
