The All Peoples Congress Party (APC) has welcomed their flag bearer and Presidential candidate, Samura Kamara for the June 24 General Elections upon his return to Sierra Leone after a week-long extraordinary trip to the United States of America.

In given the preliminary plans for their Presidential Candidate ahead of the June Elections, they maintained that, he will immediately start close interaction with the electorates at different levels on his vision and on why he is a better alternative to the ruling Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP).

According to reports, Kamara left the US on Friday night after engaging US Congressional Leaders, senators, head of human rights organizations, Democratic institutional leaders, representatives at the Carter Center, and other Sierra Leoneans living in America in a town hall meeting.

The APC presidential candidate visit to the US was reportedly focused on important talks related to his presidential aspirations. In so doing, he spoke with members of the Sierra Leonean community, spoke with US Congressional and Senate Officials, and went to the Voice of America office while in the United States.

Kamara travelled with others, including; APC’s Duputy Chairman, Ambassador Alhaji Osman Foday Yansaneh, former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Hon. Frankly Bai Kargbo Esq., former Anti Corruption commissioner, Ady Macauley Esq., and his assistants.
