Alhaji Alpha Khanu, the self-acclaimed apprentice of the erstwhile President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, who believes he was earned the necessary administrative skills to run the affairs of this country as head of state, is suddenly missing in action.

His action by accepting to become a foot soldier of the SLPP party and President Julius Maada Bio, has made him a laughing stock in the eyes of right thinking Sierra Leoneans, for abandoning his previous goal of winning election and taking the seat of the Presidency of the country after series of castigations on the current President Julius Maada Bio, Alpha Khanu has swiftly returned to his vomit, and it is now believed that he has relegated himself to just a mere messenger of the SLPP party; and can be thrown into the gutters at any time.

Alhaji Alpha Khanu is one of the Ministers that served in diverse Ministries under the APC led government of former President Ernest Bai Koroma and was highly admired for his oratory skills in overshadowing his political opponents, including members of the ruling SLPP government. As minister under the APC government, Alpha Khanu has been using the achievements of the former President to castigate members of other political parties including the SLPP party.

Is Alpha Kanu missing in action?

It is crystal clear that Alhaji Alpha Khanu, the self-acclaimed ‘apprentice’, has failed woefully in achieving his daydream of becoming the President of Sierra Leone and has now chosen to become a ‘passenger’ in the SLPP government led by His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio.

Political observers have described the act of Alhaji Alpha Khanu as very treacherous and blatant disregard of his loyalists and admirers, who are badly hit by his despicable act in disregarding his political ambition of assuming the presidency of the country.

One of his proponents that felt badly of the decision of Alpha Khanu in demoting himself to a lower cadre in governance than the Presidency; has referred to the actions and unwarranted and has called on him to desist in causing more damage to his reputation.
