The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) has announced that ballot papers for the 24 June elections will arrive at the Freetown International Airport on Saturday.
This revelation was made during a demonstration of 2023 Election Management System Meeting at the Commission’s Warehouse at Wellington in Freetown.
According to the Commission the ballot papers will be received at the Freetown International Airport together with election observers and the press corps on Saturday.
The said ballot papers will be transported to the Commission’s warehouse awaiting further transportation to voting centres across the country.
Although the Commission is certain that the multitier election will go on as planned, the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) has called on the resignation of the Chief Electoral Commissioner, Mohamed Konneh together with four other commissioners.
In a statement to the public, the APC’s Presidential Candidate Samura Kamara called on his supporters to exercise civil disobedience if their request is not met within the set time.
The APC has been in loggerheads with the Commission since early this year.
According to this article the ballot papers are to be here in Sierra Leone on Saturday, but what ballot papers are the pillgrimes going to use tomorrow to cast ballot in the various polling centers tomorrow.
Is this the kind of leader APC wants to entrust Sierra Leone into his hands? A man who tells his people to take the laws into their hands. But his family members will never be a party to that civil disobedience he is calling for. Of course he knows that that is not possible. He is an irresponsible man. Off we go on the 24th of June 2023 nothing stops that by Allah’s grace.

I am not talking for no political party because they are all the same no planning for us the youth but my advise to ECSL is to do the right thing as Sierra Leone constitution demands him to do please.

Everyday we lear new system of corruption
Early yesterday according to Sierra Loaded, the ECSL announced that the pilgrims who are about to go to the holy land of Maakah are going to vote today on Thursday the 15 of June
And now the same ECSL according to Sierra Loaded announced that the said ballot papers will arrived at the Freetown international airport on Saturday the 17 June
My question is which ballot papers those pilgrims are going to use in order to exercise their voting franchise today
If you’re a critical thinker you’ll definitely find out that this upcoming June 24 general election are already been done on d absence of the people of Sierra Leone
Guys we all know that each and every Sierra Leonean has his or her own political party in which he or she belongs or favor to win this upcoming election but let’s think for the betterment of peace and those who have the power or mandate to appeal to the ECSL to do so for d betterment of peace in our beloved Nation
