Sylvia Blyden Predicts 2023 Presidential Election
Salamatu Y. Kamara Renowned female politician, Dr. Sylvia Blyden, has made a bold prediction regarding the highly anticipated Sierra Leone presidential election scheduled for June 24th, 2023.
Dr. Blyden, known for her astute political insights and extensive experience in Sierra Leone politics, has forecasted that the election will proceed to a run-off due to incumbent President Bio falling short of the required 55% threshold.

This election is already done, the SLPP is going to get over the 55% Sylvia is taking about. Think of how the campaign is going on, the SLPP and president Bio are going on the field to campaign with oneness while most of the big guns in the APC are taking the back seat. The APC we know before for their campaign strategies is not the APC we are seeing and more over the SLPP have made more in roads in the north and north-east while the APC are yet to go to the south east. To win an election is unity but nothing like that in the APC. President Maada Bio is going to win this election with no run-off.

Sylvia’s accurate prediction was then and not now. Now, even the blind knows that there will be no run off, Bio will be defeated hands down. The only way there will be a run off, is when APC allow the ECSL to execute its rigging plans.
The simple straightforward fact, is that THIS TIME, in the FIRST ROUND, JULIUS MAADA BIO WILL SORE JUST OVER 35%.
In 2018, in the FIRST ROUND, the figures declared by N’fa Ali Conteh, the then Electoral Commissioner, produced a win of LESS THAN 15,000 VOTES, (14,744); (just over 0.58%) between Dr Samura Kamara and Bio. Bio = 1,097,492 i.e. 43.3% ot total votes cast: Dr Samura Kamara = 1,082,748 42.37% of total votes cast). [Valid votes cast = 2,535,122; invalid VOID votes, 139,427: TOTAL VOTES = 2, 676,549]
This was at a time when Maada Bio, had a giant popularity, and there were a lot of vexatious attitudes and grievances against Dr Samura within the APC. Thirdly, the APC influence in the South/SOUTH EAST was far less than what we are seeing today. Pujehun, Kailahun, Moyamba and even Kenema Towns, are showing Hugh signs of support towards Dr Samura. I can see Bio’s total votes in the First Rounf falling down to the 2012 level when he was defeated by EBK. MY Prediction with all the above, is a FIRST ROUND DEFEAT, WHITH JULIUS MAADA BIO SOCRING AROUND 35%. (ALPHA SAIDU PREDICTED 4/10 i. e. 40%). THAT WILL BE HIS MAXIMUM RESULT ON 24th JUNE 2023.
Unless Guineans, Nigerians, Liberians and other neighbouring countries who are not feeling the pain that is going on in Sierra Leone are allow to vote in June 24 general election can allow Maada bio to score over 35/ but if not there Will be no way he can make it.

Sierra Leone is one heck of a country. Any Joe Blog could just parachute himself/herself there and start calling himself/herself a Doctor and – presto! -like the pied pipers of that famous German Town of Hamelin, the folks will start following him/her. Emboldened by that swallowing of that deceit hook, line and sinker, he/she starts dabbling in election polling. Oh Salone!
