The Former Eastern Regional Chairperson of the All People’s Congress Party (APC) Finda Diana Konomanyi has engaged members of the party at the Party’s District office on Yardu Road Koidu City, Kono District.

According to her the purpose of engaging the party members in Kono District was to inform them about the outcome of Justice Fishers’ ruling and for the members of the Party to prepare themselves for the coming of the party’s lower-level elections in the District and the country as a whole.

She maintained that owing to the confusion and misinformation around the judgment of Justice Fisher, the twenty-one-man committee for her to come down to Kono District to better explain in simple terms the ruling of Justice Fisher with regards to the Party’s Position. She noted that Justice Fishers’ ruling states that the party executives and committees already made decisions and should continue noting that no one has the right to take any decisions other than those already taken by the Party executives and committee.

The former Eastern Regional chairperson of the main opposition All People’s Congress Party told the audience that the ruling of Justice Fisher has also given the right to members of the APC especially those who have paid for their membership cards to collect them for safe keeping adding that cases of expelled members from the party should wait for the pending delegates conference

“I deserve the respect my people have for me because I love them and their interest should be mine”, Finda Diana Konomanyi opined.

She pointed out that the issues of the Vice Presidency are the concern of her people as according to them she is the fittest for the said position.

Madam Konomanyi maintained that issues of ECSL are very serious and need the collective efforts of all and Sundry especially authorities to solve the said issues affecting ECSL, citing the past bye-elections held across the country coupled with nine hundred registration only four hundred names were displayed, entry spaces blank, Men carrying women’s names to name but a few.

She, therefore, called on authorities concerned to do the needful for a credible electioneering process.
