European Union EOM Observers were in all 16 districts monitoring the coordination of the voting processes by the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL). The early voting was done because pilgrim will leave to Mecca in performance of the Hajj Ceremony. The ECSL conducts the voting in all 16 districts and on several polling stations to give opportunity for free and fair elections and it was done in the observation of the EUEOM long-term observers.
Throughout the process the EU EOM observers were in attendance to make sure that the voters were all accounted for and that the process goes on swiftly.
The EUEOM observes how ECSL handles non-sensitive electoral material in all the districts to monitor the processes, reception and storage of ballot boxes.
Where do they got the ballot papers when the commissioner said ballot papers will arrive at the Free Town international airport on Saturday?
They have arrived two days ago
That’s a fantastic job done by the Eu, we hope that they should continue with the observation throughout the election process for free, fair and credible results.
The observation made by NEW is a dangerous early warning sign. ECSL becareful, Sierra Leonean lives matter much.
