High Court Judge, Justice Adrian J. Fisher will tomorrow, Wednesday 23rd November, 2022 deliver final Judgment in the Contempt Proceedings matter between the chairman of the Interim Transitional Governing Committee (ITGC) of the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC), Alfred Peter Conteh Vs former president, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma and Others.

This revelation is made in a statement issued out today by the Communications Department of Judiciary of Sierra Leone.

The statement reads, “The Judiciary Communications wishes to inform all Journalists, CSOs and our revered public that Honourable Justice Adrian J Fisher will tomorrow, Wednesday 23rd November, 2022 at 10:00am deliver final Judgment in the Contempt Proceedings matter- ALFRED PETER CONTEH VS DR. ERNEST BAI KOROMA AND OTHERS.”

It adds, “Due to the limited spacing capacity and to maintain orderliness, the Court facility will only accommodate accredited Media Houses, CSOs, Parties to the Case and their Counsel. Accordingly, our security team will also be vigilant to adhere and ensure total compliance.”

“Accredited Court Reporters will be in attendance to provide full but impartial coverage to the public. In light of this, the Party supporters/Party stakeholders who are not direct Parties to the Contempt Proceedings are advised to stay home and further avoid the precinct of the Main Law Courts Building, Siaka Stevens Street,” the statement ends.

Earlier this year, Justice Fisher delivered a final Judgment on a separate matter between Alfred Peter Conteh and former president Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, All People’s Congress (APC) and PPRC.

The High Court Judge dissolved the former APC National Executive, ordered for an Interim Committee to be set up, and perpetual injunction granted against the former National Executive from holding themselves out as Executive members.

The National Secretary General of APC, Ambassador Osman Foday Yansaneh was ordered to vacate office within 14 Days and provided handover notes to the interim committee.
