Two aggrieved senior members of the National Grand Coalition (NGC) Party, Saidu Abass Dumbuya and Ambrose Osman Bangura have pledged their love and loyalty to the party.

Dumbuya and Bangura were among two of four members that petitioned the party to the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) feeling aggrieved after the conduct of the NGC’s National Delegate’s Conference held on the 13th and 14th of December 2022.

Both Dumbuya and Bangura contested for National Organising Secretary and Deputy Secretary-General in the said Delegate’s Conference last December.

In a letter to the PPRC, the two petitioners said, “We the undersigned hereby write to withdraw our petition from your reputable institution.”

They added that they wish for their names to be withdrawn from the petition as they look forward to the party’s cause while they leave their grievances to be determined by destiny and faith.

The NGC recorded over 174,000 votes in the 2018 elections securing about 6.9 percent of total votes counted. The party finished third and is looking forward to better that margin in the coming elections this June.
