The political Party Regulation Commission has called the All People’s Congress (APC), the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) and the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL) to a dialogue meeting. The meeting will be co-hosted by the Independent Commission for Peace and National Cohesion(ICPNC) today at the Buntumani International Conference Center at Aberdeen.
This dialogue was called following several claims of electoral malpractices to be done in the June 24 general elections. The APC in the past days have made claims on issues they had with the ECSL commissioners’ ways of organizing the election materials and providing data following the election and for these they demanded the commissioners to resign in a 72 hours period that has already expired.
The ECSL boss, Mohamed Konneh, said that they are not going to resign and the APC issued a release to announce a peaceful protest against the ECSL.
The dialogue will host the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone, the Security Sector Actors: National Security Coordinator. Inspector General of Police, Development Partners, Election Observer Missions and line Civil Society Organizations.
The dialogue we want to hear is Mohamed Konneh should resign with immediate effect and allow independent commission to conduct the election. If not we will take to the street and demonstrate. This Bio regime is not needed any more.
All what we need is peace and stability in the country
We don’t trust the process of ECSL.
Ecsl are the problems of Sierra Leone!!! With my eyes witnessed they registered 13 to 14 years old childhoods in this upcoming election , what a child abused in our country meh
The PPRC should either disband APC or fine they hefty sums for their lawlessness
If a dialog for you means someone should resign, then you aren’t serious and sincere.
The only dialogue is the resignation of the ECSL commissioners we need an independent international body to conduct this Elections
Mohammed Konneh is not responsible for the inability of APC of APC to have a campaign message to the electorates.
He was nominated, vetted by our parliament and duly commissioned to assent to office
No ragged, insensitive persons or group of persons could demand his resignation with out due process
Any one can decide to participate or not in the forthcoming elections at will. Citizens are prepared to go to the pools
I hope we able to resolve this issue so that we can have a free Fair and most especially a peaceful elections

To really adhere to the tenet of conducting the elections in sincere, fair, credible and transparent manner for the benefits of all Sierra Sierra Leonean and the electoral bodies, exponentially.
I strongly believe that Sierra Leona is bigger than every institution in S/L,
Mohamed Konneh most do the right thing
To protect the peace of this nation.
Please Sierra Leoneans be patient and peaceful, we are all one people please, please
Samura and the executive’s should know for sure until the demands are met there is no other solutions, so the ECSL executives should just vacate from there position
