PPRC Sets October Deadline for APC District Election Petitions
Aminata Koroma The Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) has announced that the deadline for submitting petitions against rulings of the Internal Elections Complaint Board (IECB) concerning the recently concluded All Peoples Congress (APC) District Elections is Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
According to the press release, the Commission said petitions should be submitted to its headquarters in Freetown, regional offices in Bo, Kenema, Makeni and Port Loko, or its district office in Kono. Petitions may also be submitted via email to [email protected].
The Commission further announced that hearings on the petitions will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Commission’s conference room on OAU Drive, Tower Hill, Freetown.
According to the notice, the PPRC has invited the petitioners, the IECB, the Internal Elections Management Committee (IEMC) and the APC National Secretariat to attend the hearings.
