SLPP Demands Apology From APC Over Leaked Unclad Photos of Vice President Foh
Sierra Leone`s main opposition party, SLPP has demanded an apology from the governing All Peoples Congress (APC) party over allegations that its members were behind a picture depicting a nude Vice President Victor Bockarie Foh.
The picture is on social media and it has rekindled the debate about how to regulate social media.
Mr Cornelius Deveaux, Deputy Publicity Secretary (II) of the APC, earlier in the morning accused the SLPP of masterminding the release of the picture and said it was part of their way achieving their

But Mr Sulaiman Banja Tejan-Sie, Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP), described the accusations as unfounded and said it was the APC`s style of blaming its disunity and inadequacies on others.
He said the SLPP as a party condemns the picture, they were unhappy with attempt to blame them for it. Mr Tejan-Sie also said the APC had become victim of its own style of politicking.
Cornelius Deveaux should apologise to the SLPP for the unfortunate allegations, he said. Mr Tejan-Sie mocked the APC-led government for failing to matchup with modern trends by failing to enact laws that will address emerging issues around social media abuse.
