The National Publicity Secretary of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), Moses Mambu, has said that the construction of the party’s national office offers benefits beyond the party itself and contributes to broader national development.
Speaking during an interview on Liberty Online TV, Mambu stated that when a governing party develops its infrastructure, such projects can extend beyond internal party functions to serve wider national interests.
He said the SLPP office project should be viewed within a broader political framework that supports governance, coordination, and national organization.
“When you get a constructive political party that leads the country like SLPP, it is a benefit to the country,” Mambu said.
He added that strong political institutions play a role in promoting national development and political stability, particularly when the party is in government.
Mambu’s remarks have sparked public discussion on the role of political party infrastructure in national development in Sierra Leone.
