Susan Bona has shown interest to replace former President Ernest Bai Koroma as National Chairman and Leader for All peoples Congress (APC) party.

Susan is a strong member and supporter of the opposition party APC. She is the first woman in the party to aspire for such high position. She contested for parliamentary seat in 2013 against a family member in a strong hold of the ruling SLPP party in Kailahun and the votes she receive were impressive.

Susan is born in Kailahun and Raise in Kono, the Eastern part of Sierra Leone. She finished her elementary school in Kailahun and high school in Freetown before moving to the United States where she got Master’s Degree and other Educational Achievement.

She has been actively involved in helping his people back home. She was one those women bringing humanitarian aids for displaced people during the eleven years civil war in Sierra Leone.

Susan became interested in politics since 2010. Since then, she has become active in APC affairs. She is very supportive to the party and she has shown loyalty. This make her decide to go for higher position in the next convention of the All People Congress.
