Former Vice President of Sierra Leone and Ambassador to China under the All People’s Congress (APC) administration, Victor Bockarie Foh, recently revealed that he voted for Julius Maada Bio during the 2018 Presidential elections.

Foh made this disclosure while addressing SLPP supporters in Kabala.

He explained that prior to the 2018 elections, he expressed his concerns to his then-boss, former President Koroma, in the presence of Samura and Chericoco. Foh conveyed his belief that Samura Kamara, who was the APC candidate, lacked political acumen and would be challenging to promote. Consequently, he was not convinced that Kamara would win the elections.

Foh further mentioned that he had left the APC party long before because he did not support Kamara, ultimately casting his vote for Julius Maada Bio.

On May 7, 2023, the former Vice President officially registered with the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) and declared his intention to join the SLPP in Kono, Eastern Sierra Leone.

Victor Foh, who had been a longstanding member of the APC party and held senior positions in successive APC governments, has now aligned himself with the SLPP.
