US House of Representative Steny Hamilton Hoyer, Majority Leader of the House of Representatives. Congressman Hoyer represents Maryland’s 5th Congressional district since 1981.

US House of Representative Emmanuel Cleaver. Congressman Cleaver is now serving his ninth term representing Missouri’s Fifth Congressional District, the home district of President Harry Truman.

Congresswoman Barbara Lee has been representing California’s 13th District since 1998. She is the highest ranking African American woman in Democratic Leadership, serving as Co-Chair of the Policy and Steering Committee. **She also serves on the Budget Committee and the powerful Appropriations Committee, which oversees all federal government spending.

US House of Representative Al Green of Texas. Congressman Green serves Texas 9th Congressional District and recently began his ninth term.

US House of Representative Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas 18th Congressional District in Houston. An influential and forceful voice in Washington. Congresswoman Lee is serving her fourteenth term in Congress.
