Sierra Leonean FIFA-badge Assistant Referee Agnes Abdul Gbla officiated the opening match of the WAFU-A U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Senegal on Monday 7 September 2026.

Gbla was appointed as Assistant Referee One for the tournament opener between hosts Senegal and Mauritania, forming part of the officiating team for the regional encounter.
