Chief Executive Officer of Lamboi Football Club based in Lungi Augustine Lamboi has asserted their priority is to compete for the 2022/23 league title which is also the maiden appearance of the club in the country’s top tier league.

Lamboi FC established nine years ago is the first-ever club in Lungi to attain Premier League status, they earned a spot in the Sierra Leone Premier League after winning the 2022 national playoffs unbeaten scoring nine goals and conceding only three out of six matches played.

The club has also reached the quarter-finals stage of the Leocem FA Cup in 2016 and has kick-off training on Monday, in preparation for the 2022/23 season

CEO Augustine Lamboi disclosed that they have recalled players that were on loan to different premier clubs in the previous league season, adding even though they are debutants but that will not prevent them from pursuing the major goal which is to clinch the league title
