The Leone Rock Premier League has officially announced Bo Rangers head coach Alhaji Foray and East End Lions defender Mohamed Fofanah as the Coach and Player of the Month for March.
The duo was recognized for their outstanding individual and team performances during a highly competitive stretch of the 2025-2026 season.
Alhaji Foray, affectionately known as “Abedi,” claimed the Manager of the Month award after guiding Bo Rangers to a stellar unbeaten run. Under his tactical leadership in March, the team secured five wins and one draw across six matches. The impressive streak earned Bo Rangers 16 points, cementing Foray’s status as the top manager for the period.

On the pitch, East End Lions defender Mohamed Fofanah, nicknamed “Fastest,” was crowned Player of the Month. Fofanah was a dominant force for his club, making six appearances throughout March. He anchored the defense, scored one goal, and was named Man of the Match three times, highlighting his immense influence on the team’s overall performance.

Following the announcements, the Premier League Board (PLB) Media provided a breakdown of the voting process to highlight the transparency and structured evaluation behind the awards.
According to the PLB, both the Manager and Player of the Month awards are decided through a dual voting system. An independent expert panel of football analysts and professionals accounts for 90% of the total vote, while the remaining 10% is determined by fan votes cast on the league’s official social media platforms.
Player nominations are strictly based on comprehensive match statistics, including goals, assists, clean sheets, and overall match influence. Managerial nominations are similarly data-driven, evaluating team results, tactical decisions, and the ability to navigate challenges such as tough fixtures and injuries.
The candidates with the highest cumulative scores from both the expert panel and the fans are ultimately awarded the monthly honors.
