East End Lions prolific winger, Prince Barrie has received a late nod from Leone Stars gaffer, John Keister as a replacement for Rodney Michael.

The FK Mornar Bar striker, Michael, left the camp after suffering from an injury on Wednesday.

“Disappointed to have to withdraw from the National team due to injury. As always, I wish the players and technical team all the best and I am optimistic they will get results that the nation will be proud of,” Michael reacted after missing out for the National team for the second time in a row.

Barrie, 25, has capped 12 times for the Leone Stars scoring once in the process.

Leone Stars will play São Tomé next week Wednesday and Saturday respectively in Morocco in a Group A 2023 AfCON Qualifier.
