Matchweek 12 of the Leone Rock Premier League provided a mix of surprises, tight contests, and crucial results for teams across the table.

Bai Bureh Warriors delivered a stunning performance with a 4-1 victory over Freetown City FC at the Approved School Field, marking one of the most significant results of the week. Abacha City FC and Bo Rangers FC played to a 1-1 draw in another match at the same venue, while Ports Authority managed a much-needed 1-0 win against Wusum Stars FC.

At the top, Bhantal FC continues to lead with 26 points, despite a 0-0 draw with Luawa FC. East End Lions remains hot on their heels with 25 points after defeating FC Kallon 1-0. Wilberforce Strikers FC also secured a 1-0 victory against Star Sports Academy.

The relegation zone is becoming increasingly tense, with Luawa FC (12 points), Star Sports Academy (10 points), and Freetown City FC (10 points) all fighting to climb out of the bottom spots. Ports Authority’s win this week puts them at 9 points, but they still face a tough battle ahead.

Other Matchweek 12 results included Diamond Stars FC drawing 1-1 with Bullom Stars FC, Old Edwardians drawing 1-1 with Kamboi Eagles, and SLIFA FC drawing 1-1 with Mighty Blackpool.
