Popular Sierra Leone China based forward Mohamed Buya Turay has revealed to Leone Stars Supporters saying that he will give his best to ensure a good performance in Cameroon.

The prolific forward made this statement after the match between Sierra Leone and Algeria .

Considering his positive output in the Algeria’s match, Buyaka holds the view that he should have done more to create more chances for Leone Stars goal scoring opportunities.

He acknowledged the fact that as a professional footballer, he is still learning and their is no perfection in him. He emphasized that despite his imperfection, he always listen to coaches instructions on how to score goals.

Though he feels disappointed for being unable to score in the match, he believes he has never being a selfish player, and promised to improve on his performance in the games ahead.

Reacting to the game, fans hailed energetic Buyaka for his brilliant performance. Majority of Sierra Leoneans were marveled at Buya’s penetration skills towards the Algerian defense. His penetration skills prevented the Algerians defense not to attack or provide support for the Desert Foxes striking force

Buyaka was a player of interest to Coach John Keister during his recent friendly matches in Morocco and Turkey but club commitments prevented him from showing up.

Leone Stars is expected to play their next match against Cote D’Ivoire on Sunday 16th January.
