Cline Town Community advanced to the quarterfinals of a local football competition on Saturday, defeating Calaba Town Community 5-3 in a penalty shootout after the match finished level in regulation time, according to match reports.
Goalkeeper Unisa Conteh earned Man of the Match honors after saving two spot-kicks in the shootout, according to reports. His heroics proved decisive as Cline Town converted all five of their attempts to seal the victory.
The Round of 16 clash drew approximately 8,000 spectators, according to the same accounts. Despite the high stakes and the dramatic finish, the match concluded peacefully, with Cline Town supporters celebrating while Calaba Town fans headed home disappointed.
